First of all I would like to clear a misunderstanding among you about the word destiny. It is mostly used in the sense either something is pre-ordained or not in our fate. And when something did not happen according to our wish we ought to blame it and when it is fulfilled we seldom give any credit to it. Mostly people consider their achievements an outcome of their own intellect and wisdom and invariably blame destiny when they face any failure in life.
Ladies and Gentlemen! Destiny is a measurement. It is such a measurement on which not only on individual level but also collective creation of this whole universe depends, e.g. The making of the whole universe and creation of means for man and his habitation as Allah Almighty says in Qur’an :
“And there is not a beast in the earth but the sustenance thereof dependth on Allah” (Hud 2)
Obviously there is no haphazard technique through which Allah has spread this universe. He has created this huge world of rivers , lands and mountains with an accurate measurement and for the moon Allah has appointed mansions and for the sun fixed its timings to rise and sets in time and command it to provide light for plantation whether it has to be riped, decayed or left useless, everything is preordained, so the word destiny (taqdir) is used in a broader sense. It is a pattern and all things and professions are created out of this pattern. Every one has to follow this pattern without any other choice. When a child is born, he has got no hold over his destiny for several years…where he will be born ,who will be his parents? He is not able to control his matters on intellectual or conscious level. If we look at the general history of mankind then even in the well educated and civilized areas of the world child is the responsibility of his parents unless he is sixteen years old. How could he control his life when for sixteen years he remained dependent. Now I will ask a counter question to all of you to tell me what is destiny? Suppose at one place you have the choice to spend countless life of luxuries and enjoyments and at other place countless life of torments of hell then to which you would call destiny? Do you think this earthly life of sixty or seventy years is your destiny, or the life after death is your destiny? Then listen, it ( foreordination: muqader) has to do nothing with you nor you have to do anything with it. This is a general set of facility which is given to every human being to prepare him for his “ Taqdir”(destiny) which is either a countless life of luxuries or countless life of torments of hell fire. Ladies and Gentlemen! It is infact your “protocol” which you call destiny. Why I called it protocol? When president of any country have to visit any place first of all, security is provided there, besides this his every movement is pre- planned and fool proofed. If you observe the security concerns of any important personality and if by chance there left any loop hole then a huge security breach is created and all apprehensions come to an end. Everybody seems to worry for that VIP, similarly Allah Almighty says in Qura’n that there shall be for you on earth a habitation and provision for a time and angels for your protection from supernatural beings, occupation and skills for you so you could prove your capabilities., family and children for your wellbeing and security. Why Allah has provided all these facilities to mankind? Only to save man from complaining against Him. Suppose on the day of judgement Allah will ask the following question to all of us that he had sent man in this world and endowed him wisdom and intellect whether he be grateful or disbelieving, but he remained busy in worldly affairs.
“Lo! We have shown him the way, whether he be grateful or disbelieving.” (Dahar 3)
And it is possible that man would have reply ,O’ Almighty Allah, You kept me busy in worldly fever and frets to search my parents, job and then family, I did not get a single minute to think about You. There are two possibilities either Allah will accept these excuses as they are very important things and we should have done it and did not think about Him. But Allah will say, you tell lies ,you were not responsible for any thing neither for your food nor habitation.It was my responsibility to take care for your each and every affair.

When Dick Cheney was the vice- president of America, he sent armed forces in Algeria. Algeria was under extreme hostile conditions. Someone warned him about those hostile conditions to which he replied that he has equipped his army fully according to its environment, and even if they will be in need of needle we have provided it too…So, Ladies and Gentlemen! If the governments of world are so efficient then think about the creator of this whole universe ; One who has to manage the arrival and departure of his subordinate on earth and had to bestowed on him honour and respect and what do you think, were not it be His responsibility? He is the only provident and sustainer of the mankind. And which you call your destiny is in fact your protocols and the real destiny will be achieved in life after death.
